The figures recorded here are taken from the Catch Returns made by members and visiting anglers covering the years from 2004 to 2007. Given human nature, a complete return is little more than a pipe dream. It is quite surprising to learn that so many anglers are unwilling to reveal their catches (although they are quite happy to talk at length about "the one that got away"!). Consequently these figures are based upon an average return of 25 - 30%. Fortunately this figure is sufficient to both compile these tables and guide our stocking policy. The figures show a fairly consistent average weight over the period.
